Senior PHP Developer

Web Recruiters seeks a Senior PHP Developer to attend a workshop with a US client in late April and then work on the project for approximately 3–4 years.

Domain: a portal improving B2B interaction between North and Latin America.
Greenfield development with no legacy code. The development team will have 3–4 developers: 2–3 backend and 1 frontend, supported by a UX/UI designer, QA and PM.

The new hire will help choose the stack. The tentative choice is PHP with Symfony/Laravel and Vue.js/ReactJS. Symfony or Laravel knowledge is desirable, although other frameworks can be discussed.

The workshop takes place in Kyiv during the last week of April. The developer must attend for 3–4 paid days. Travel and accommodation are covered for attendees coming from another city.

The workshop also serves as the final interview stage. Stage one covers organizational matters and English; stage two is technical; stage three involves the workshop and meeting the client.

The final collaboration decision follows the workshop. Subsequent work is full-time.

Key developer requirements:

 – More than 5 years of experience;

 – Excellent framework knowledge: Symfony, Laravel or another framework with a clear justification for its use;

 – Substantial greenfield project experience, including architecture design;

 – Team leadership experience is desirable.

Upper-intermediate English is required.
