Senior/Middle+ Drupal developer

Company: Company was founded in 2008. Website for our consulting business is Metergram.com. Adverticalmedia.com is the brand we use for our own portfolio but there is very little information there.

Current team: Technical cofounder. Senior Java Developer, Senior Drupal Developer, Middle Drupal Developer, Junior PHP Developer, Junior PHP Developer, 
Approach: Agile, Scrum sprints, Gitflow, code review, continuous integration, continuous deployment. Varies somewhat from project to project.
Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Slack and Skype
Reporting: Cofounder manages all developers. Depending on the project a senior developer can act as Scrum master and other founder sometimes steps in as product owner to represent the client.
Stack: Currently LAMP, Drupal 7/8, Acquia, Java, CUBA, but we will take on and solve any needs our clients have. Laravel, Angular, React are nice to have skills.
Culture: Open communication, not much hierarchy. All team members should feel that their opinion is valued and a sense of ownership for the projects. All staff in the company works remotely including the founders. We have freelancers that have been working with us for 5+ years.
Clients/Projects: We are a subcontractor that mainly does Web development for our clients who are generally PR firms, ad agencies and digital agencies. (10-100 employees). We have a few stable clients that we have worked with for many years, and we also accept shorter projects from time to time.

Qualifications:

·         Full stack engineer with focus on the Drupal framework.

·         Experience and deep understanding of Drupal 7/8.

·         PHP and be very familiar with all the LAMP stack technologies.

·         Experience of, and willingness to, quickly jump into new and different technologies or stacks and get the job done.

·         Experience and deep understanding of all aspects of web development, including API-integrations, DevOps, hosting setup and configuration.

·         Very well versed in GIT and common workflows, deployment processes, etc.

·         Attention to detail and following best practices in everything and knowing when not to.

·         Being able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.

·         Excellent communication skills in English.

·         Participation in frequent video meetings, sometimes with external clients.

·         A willingness to own a problem from inception to solution.

·         Self starter who has an ability to work with minimum direction.

In short, a person that is senior and experienced enough do deal with pretty much anything that comes up in terms of (PHP/Open Source) web development and related tasks from start to finish. Someone we can trust to hand-off odd or highly critical tasks to.
