Senior Blockchain Engineer — 1 position, Kyiv office, $3000–5000

Relocation to Kyiv from other cities is available.

We are growing business high speed developing. Creating blockchain and crypto project for a 3 years and believe that it change current world in the best way.

 

Team:

The team consists of Java developers, JS developers, QA, DevOps and PM.

 

Compensation range: $3000–5000.

 

Kyiv office, 300 meters from Olimpiiska metro.
Free gym and sauna access for all employees.

 

• Working hours: 9–18.
• Weekends and public holidays off.
• 21 days of paid vacation per year.

Required skills

• Strong software development background

• Experience working with large codebases

• Experience working with open-source projects

• Proficiency in one of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript {{ Depending on the project }}

• Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures

• Familiarity with basic cryptography

• Familiarity with P2P networks

• Strong knowledge of bitcoin-like blockchains

• Strong knowledge of concurrency and writing efficient and safe multithreaded code

• Strong knowledge of STL, C++11 {{ In the case of a blockchain based on C++ }}

• Proficiency in the Qt Widgets module {{ Applies to projects where a GUI wallet application is needed }}

• Experience in blockchain development and a deep understanding of the fundamental design principles behind distributed-ledger applications

• Understanding of various consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, PoA, etc).

• Experience with Ethereum blockchain platform.

• Solid knowledge of Ethereum (Solidity, Truffle), Bitcoin, HyperLedger (fabric, sawtooth, composer), NEM, EOS.

• Understanding of Smart Contracts

• Ability to create and maintain complex algorithms.

 

Will be plus

• Practical experience with other blockchain platforms: IBM Hyperledger, EOS, VeChain, Corda, Quorum, Cardano, etc…

• Experience with cybersecurity.

• Experience participation in Hackathons
