Middle Frontend Developer — AngularJS/RoR

Middle/Senior Frontend Developer — AngularJS/RoR. Urgent; September start.

We need a frontend developer with AngularJS knowledge or a full-stack developer familiar with both AngularJS and Ruby. Part-time or full-time, to be agreed individually. We have not decided to move away from Angular, but are considering other frameworks or Angular 2. Any transition will be gradual.

Key requirements:

• A university degree and at least 2 years of development experience;
• Solid Ruby/Ruby on Rails knowledge;
• At least 2 years of practical Angular experience;
• Git, ham/slim, sass/scss/ less, CoffeScript/Pure JS/jQuery;
• Postgresql/Redis;
• A preference for TDD using RSpec;
• Understanding of REST architecture;
• RabbitMQ, Chef, Puppet or Ansible knowledge would be a plus;
• Jenkins and TeamCity would be a plus.
• English sufficient to read and understand documentation. The entire team speaks Russian.

Sirenabus.com is a growing travel startup in bus transportation, one of the travel industry’s fastest-growing segments. As our workload increases and we launch new projects, we are looking for an experienced Middle or Senior Frontend Developer working with AngularJS/RoR.

We are based in Moscow but are also open to remote collaboration. Both part-time and full-time arrangements can be discussed.

Compensation depends on qualifications and, most importantly for us, development speed. Pay reflects the work delivered.
We use Agile development and Scrum. Business needs take priority. We use YouTrack for our board and hold daily meetings. Sprint planning and retrospectives take place once every 2 weeks.
