Senior Drupal developer

Our expectations to the applicant

• Deep knowledge of Drupal 7/PHP development (2+ years of experience) including building own custom modules
• Skilled in frontend development using Html 5/CSS/Javascript and JQuery
• Experience in integrations with various APIs via REST and JSON, XML
• Understanding of approaches and technologies used in high-loaded web sites (caching, APC, Memcached, Varnish)
• Experience in making of mobile-friendly sites using responsive web design principles
• Some experience with Drupal technical setup and the Linux platform
• Good English writing and speaking communication skills
• Advise other colleagues regarding web sites operation and configuration
• Be able to form new ideas and ‘sell’ them to our web department in Denmark (i.e. not only wait for tasks to be sent from Denmark, but be part of the idea process)
• Ensure creation and maintain operations procedures, documentation both for own team(3’rd level) and for 1’st and 2’nd level
• Feel good in a busy environment, where there always tasks and something that can be improved

• LAMP stack (Linux, Apache cluster, MySQL cluster, PHP)
• Drupal 7 + Views, Feeds, Features, Panels and other modules
• Close integration with Java backend service through the REST and JSON APIs, custom modules
• Memcached for Drupal cache
• Varnish as HTTP caching reverse proxy
• High loaded web sites – ~11 million users per month, ~300 requests per second
• Solr as search engine
• Capistrano
• Responsive, mobile-friendly design – jysk.dk, jysk.co.uk, jysk.pl etc
• LESS, Bootstrap 3, JQuery, Knockout, Coffeescript
• Automated tests, BDD, Behat
• SVN
• Participating in technical decisions, being responsible for overall platform lifecycle
• Drupal coding standards and best practices
