Senior MS Dynamics AX Solution Architect / Software Developer for Microsoft Dynamics AX 

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect / Software Developer with Dynamics AX 2012 / AX 7 ERP experience who has a mix of hands on experience on Dynamics AX implementation and deep technical ability. The developer will play a key role both leading all the technical aspects of the cutting edge implementation project of the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics AX and integrating it with advanced proprietary e-commerce platform and the 3^rd party SCM systems (3PL).

Responsibilities:

• Play a leadership role in designing, estimating, developing, testing and delivery of the desired software architecture and features for Dynamics AX 7 implementation and integration
• Become a technical leader across the ERP feature areas and ensure all designs, data models and implementations are consistent, feasible, and comply with Dynamics AX 7 product side standards
• Contribute to the technical set-up and execution of Dynamics AX 7 project work streams with hands on prototyping, coding and test of specific concepts and functionality
• Drive the design, coding and test of approved solution features and functionality
• Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications
• Maintain regular contact with business users to anticipate, identify and respond to their needs and expectations
• Prioritize work and spend time on most important, value-adding areas
• Monitoring the performance, quality, budget and time are essential and belong in part to your responsibility
• Establish test plans and develop e-Commerce-specific customizations in Dynamics AX 2012

Experience and Skill Requirements:

• 5+ years of Dynamics AX experience preferably working as a development lead for at least one global/complex (multiple ISV solutions / work streams) deployment
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics AX 2012 with 2 years of AX 2012 experience
• Implementing and operating Dynamics AX 2012 instances for multiple sites
• Highly skilled in customization with X++ code and all AOT objects
• Debugging/Troubleshooting skills (ability to troubleshoot issue using AX debugger)
• Knowledge of tuning and troubleshooting Dynamics AX (DynamicsPerf, TraceParser)
• Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server and AX Build process
• Good knowledge of PowerShell
• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server SSRS and SSAS and AX 2012 analytical cubes
• Working knowledge of programming methodologies, structures, and concepts
  .Net framework, UML, XML, SharePoint, BizTalk
• 8+ years working with an object oriented development language
• X++, C++, C#, VB.NET, Java, .NET framework
• 5+ years as a senior X++ developer working with large development projects
• Experience with offshore management of X++ development projects.
• Have experience in estimating development effort
• Working knowledge of Microsoft platform skills
• Ability to manage off-shore development efforts
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced business environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Industry-specific knowledge is a plus (preferably Distribution and e-Commerce industries)

• MCSE, MCSD, MCP’s qualification in SQL Server and/or Windows preferred
• Current certifications in Dynamics AX Development Introduction and MorphX Solutions Development

You must possess a strong understanding of engineering functions, and be comfortable working with a wide spectrum of people from all function areas of distribution business. You must also have strong and demonstrated technical leadership skills.
