UI/UX Designer & Game UI Artist
What we’re building
A cross-platform multiplayer casual gaming hub — one app, 8 games, Android, iOS, and web. Think clean, satisfying, production-level mobile game feel.
What this role owns
Everything visual and interactive — from the first wireframe to the particle effect on a completed puzzle. You design it, spec it, and where possible build it directly in Unity.
Specifically:
- All screen designs and user flows for the Hub (game grid, profile, rankings, matchmaking, results, settings)
- Visual style guide — typography, color system, spacing, animation language
- All 2D game art assets for all 8 games — sprites, backgrounds, tile sets, icons, UI elements
- App icon, splash screen, store screenshots
- Motion design — every animated interaction specified with timing, easing, duration, and trigger (button press, screen transition, game completion celebration, particle effects)
- Direct Unity implementation of UI animations, particle systems, and Animator controllers where your skills allow — or delivery of specs precise enough that the Unity developer can implement in under an hour
What we need from you
- Strong mobile game UI portfolio — not just apps, actual games with HUDs, result screens, and lobby flows
- 2D art production skills — you can produce game-ready assets, not just mockups
- Motion design sensibility — you understand timing curves, you know what “satisfying” feels like and can describe it in milliseconds and easing functions
- Figma for screen design
- Unity familiarity — Animator, Particle System, basic DOTween usage is a significant plus
- You start before the developers — designs must exist before Unity work begins
Nice to have
Experience with Spine or similar 2D animation tools. Experience shipping a mobile game on the App Store or Google Play.
