Daily Responsibilities

• Monitor GCP infrastructure and applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Use tools like Cloud Monitoring, Log Explorer, and Metrics Explorer to track system health.
• Analyze logs and metrics to detect issues and support troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain dashboards and alerts (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace).
• Work with DevOps and development teams to improve monitoring and observability.
• Support incident response and help identify root causes.
• Continuously improve monitoring setup and reduce false alerts.

Qualification & Skills

• Experienced in monitoring and observability within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Skilled in working with Google’s native monitoring tools, including Log Explorer and Metrics Explorer.
• Strong background in infrastructure and application monitoring, with hands-on experience analyzing logs and metrics to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Proficient with industry-standard monitoring and observability tools, including:
  • Zabbix
  • Prometheus
  • Dynatrace
  • Grafana
  • Splunk
