What You’ll Do:

Building in healthcare is an extraordinary technical and product undertaking. As a full-stack developer on our team, you will solve unique architectural and systems challenges. You’ll design sleek and thoughtful solutions to complex problems. And, you’ll contribute to the world’s next most influential software.

We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in application development. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Design and Membership teams to make product architecture decisions and implement core browser features.

Who You Are:

– Experienced in modern development frameworks and design patterns, especially in a full-stack capacity.
– Fluency with Node.js, React Contexts and Hooks, React Native, Typescript, AWS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Terraform, Tailwind (other frameworks are okay, but an understanding of the lifecycle, data flow, and component-based front-ends are important)
– Using cloud services to build + deploy applications to lots of users
– Scaling up a system beyond it’s breaking point
– Familiarity with GitHub
– You’ve worked on large, complex codebases
– You’re product minded and user driven
– You’re pragmatic and can see the bigger picture; you’re able to reason about prioritization and scope
– You’re excited about iterative development, quick cycles of learning, and the flexibility required in a startup environment

Responsibilities:

– Providing code support and implementing new features
– Refactoring and bug fixing of existing code
– Providing architectural and functionality solutions for the product
