About Us:

We are an Estonian agency that creates digital solutions headquartered in Tallinn. We have a group of different companies under one umbrella and thanks to that we cover all the business needs, meaning that we can offer the full-service solution to our clients – starting from creating strategy, UX/UI, and ending with software development, cloud hosting, etc.
The company was established in 1997 so we’re very experienced in our field. 
Our team consists of approx 100 employees who work in Estonia and approx 20 employees working remotely from around the world (e.g Ukraine, Poland, Georgia, Philippines, etc). A little more than half of them are software developers. Other roles are e.g project managers, software analysts, testers, system administrators, team leads, etc.
If you add our group’s Media company and our start-up accelerator teams then we have about 200 specialists altogether. 
Our structure consists of teams with a max of 10-12 team members. We like to keep teams small to focus on people.

Our clients are international and local companies. Our biggest key client has been working with us for about 20 years already. Our aim is to work with big projects and have long-term client relationships.

About the project and the team:

Decoupled Magento 2 development with Venia for an Enterprise who is going to replace all the web stores over the world to the new under development solution. Project will be ongoing for at least 1 more year and has around 20 people, devs, testers and analytics who are making this happen. Our Global Store team is looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Magento), and we expect the candidate to work as an Individual contributor/owner of a major component or area of our e-commerce platform, be able to guide and mentor junior developers, can work independently and can structure the work. 

Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience with Magento 2, in an agile environment
– excellent graphql  knowledge 
– a good understanding of caching, indexing, performance & scalability management strategies, extending modules
– having an overview of platform architecture, from infrastructure to application and backend / upstream systems
– excellent communication skills in English (B2-C1)

Nice to have:

– VENIA knowledge

e-Commerce Knowledge & Experience:
The ideal candidate has 7+s years of e-commerce expertise, understand Order 2 Cash flows, and have a high-level picture of e-commerce backend processes.
The Candidate is able to be an owner on integration topics between various systems involved like transactions, payments, ERP, PIM, account management, etc.
