We represent a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) who likes his work and does everything properly, to work in creating groundbreaking technology products.

This talented person will have to become part of our fast-growing team, work closely with the product and design teams, and report to the experienced Team lead.

The Senior Back End Engineer (Node.js) will be responsible for developing new and extending existing back-end services, integrating with third-party web services, and working closely with Frontend developers helping integrate with our backend.

RESPONSIBILITIES
_Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods
_Build customer-facing UI and back-end services for payment processing administration and management
_Maintain APIs and backend services
_Participate in architecture design and development for new features and capabilities to meet business and customer needs
_Contribute to our devops culture by maintaining our systems, including creating documentation, runbooks, monitoring and alerting, integration tests, etc.
_Participation in the on-call rotation with the rest of the team.

REQUIRED
_Previous working experience as a Node.js Developer for 2+ years
_Deep understanding of OOP, Data Structure, and Algorithms.
_Working knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript
_In-depth knowledge of Node.js
_Knowledge of relational databases and RDBMS (Postgres and Sequelize is a plus)
_A passion for learning the space and understanding the market
_A love for working in fast-paced startups and the ability to move things forward with a sense of urgency
_Ability to wear many hats and learn new technologies quickly
_Ability to handle multiple projects and comparing deadlines
_Intermediate level of English
