Responsibilities

• Be a Developer in a Scrum/Kanban team, with a focus on testing
• Work with developers back to back, know what they cover in unit tests (in JavaScript ), help them define integration and API tests, develop UI tests together
• Perform all means of testing (manual/automated, functional/non-functional, black-box/white-box)
• Take an active part in transition to continuous deployment and building pipelines and proper test pyramid
• Introduce exploratory testing sessions, mob-testing and other means that will lead to team testing their product together
• Help the team to be responsible for the product and quality end to end
• Mentor developers on how to test
• Find and fix bugs yourself
• Be ready to learn, develop skills and knowledge, as well as share it

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• BSc in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience in a matching position
• Solid experience in software development and testing
• Knowledge of JavaScript and experience with client-side unit/integration testing;
• Knowledge of NodeJS, RestAPI and experience with server-side unit/integration testing;
• Experience with client-server integration testing and e2e test automation;
• Experience with testing web and mobile;
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to detail
