About the project:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud-Native Developer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our Plasma platform, an open-source real-time intelligence platform serving. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic, fully Agile, and GitOps-driven environment.

Project: Plasma – Open-Source Real Time Intelligence Platform (OSS Microsoft Fabric alternative)

Languages: Go, Spark, Python

Environment: Kubernetes

Practices: 100% Agile, 100% GitOps

Bonus Skills: Java, Scala, Ansible, Terraform, React (Typescript)

Key Responsibilities:

• ​Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Go, Spark, and Python.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and best practices are maintained.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Java and Scala for additional back-end development capabilities.
• Proficiency in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
• Knowledge of React (Typescript) for front-end development.

Requirements:

• ​Proven experience as a Full-stack Developer with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies.
• Proficiency in Go, Spark, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and GitOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Good written and verbal English skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• ​Experience contributing to open-source projects.
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and analytics platforms.
