JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C# .NET Core Web API Developer / REST API Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web-based applications, with a focus on RESTful APIs. You will work closely with our development team to build and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With your technical expertise, you will be solving security challenges at scale, working to protect the applications powering the most sophisticated cloud platform ever built. We value broad and deep technical knowledge, specifically in the fields of hardware security modules, application security, cryptography, and security intelligence. – Design and develop high-quality RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core

– Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable web-based applications

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure successful delivery of applications

– Implement industry best practices and standards for web application development and security

– Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to established standards

– Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications

– Continuously improve code quality, performance, and reliability

– Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web application development

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

– Proven experience as a C# .NET Core Web API Developer / REST API Specialist

– Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles

– Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server

– Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

– Ability to build a unit test for your own code to ensure that the code is developed correctly

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

– Strong verbal and written communication skills

– Good understanding of data security and wide knowledge of data security methods and practices is a plus

– Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus
