Automation QA Specialist
We like Shopify for starting an accredited college online. We help bootcamps and other educators move online, and create great experiences for faculty and students.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Automation experience using JS tools (Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer)
- Understanding of HTML/CSS, experience with browser DevTools
- Understanding of SQL, GraphQL
- Experience with Git
- Good written English
Nice to have
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with load/security testing
- Knowledge of instrumenting tools like MixPanel, Optimizely, FullStory
- A knowledge of SOC-2 compliance or ISO 27001
Role
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into well-defined sets of test cases
- Document all user journeys and maintain up-to-date documentation in English
- Perform inspections and quality tests
- Develop scripts to automate tests execution
English
- Technical interview will be in Russian
- Strong English reading and writing
Role
- You will be the directly responsible individual for managing and improving Woolf’s cloud infrastructure, serving students and teachers in over 50 countries
- You will oversee all security issues and enact best practices to discover vulnerabilities and ensure product safety
- You will integrate advanced automation techniques to improve efficiency
- You will handle continuous monitoring and testing across all platforms
Working Conditions
- Work from office in Unit.city
- Office conditions: iMac, gym, welcome coffee, filter coffee, tea, cookies, parking slot, table tennis
- You will be hired as a PIF
- Full day of 8 hours with 1 hour break for lunch. 5 days week
- Flexible morning from 8am to 11am
- Schedule can be flexible on an exceptional basis (e.g. you need to have a day off on Monday. Then come to work on Saturday.)
- Paid sick days (up to 7 in a row)
- Paid days off, after 6 months of work: 21 days per year. Not more than 14 in row (ask so we can arrange the schedule)
- All national holidays are days off
- Paid probation period for 3 months
- Payment 2x per month (middle and end of month)
