What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be responsible for building a mobile robot, that scans the inventory with a RFID reader by going through the shelfs. For the robot we will use an existing system (e.g. RB-1 BASE | Robotnik

https://www.robotnik.eu/mobile-robots/rb-1-base , with included navigation, sensor features and retrieving commands from API (Backend).

● Setting up navigation of robot
● Extending used plattform by RFID reader and mechanism for moving reader up and down the shelf
● Sending and receiving information from the backend

What We’ll Expect From You:

● Proved experience in designing and implementation of ARM or other robots
● Knowledge of basic hardware;
● Experience with IOT (connecting Hardware with network and backend
● Independent thinking and strong problem solving skills;
● Ability to come up with pragmatic and sustainable solutions;
● Experience of working with REST-full api
● Intermediate Level of English
● Pathfinding with help of different sensors (UHF, Vision)
● Ability to build over existing hardware (upgrade previous hardware)
● Nice to have: NoSQL, Linux Experience, JavaScript or TypeScript
