Front End Development Team Leader – Kiev
We’re looking for an experienced team leader to recruit, lead, and mentor our new team of senior web and backend developers in Kiev. If you join MyHeritage, you will be playing a key role in revamping our online platform enjoyed by 85 million users worldwide.
Your team will be taking over core frontend development assignments, using the latest web technologies. Our advanced agile-based continuous deployment environment includes technologies like AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, advanced JavaScript, unit tests with Karma and Jasmine, PHP, Java, Had Symfony and more.
You and your team will be establishing our new office in Kiev, as part of a team of independent professionals/contractors, working at our global R&D centers (Israel, US and now Ukraine).
What you bring:
- 3+ years of management experience
- 10+ years of experience of building advanced web UI systems
- Strong Leadership skills – Ability to inspire, motivate, train, and manage the team of senior developers
- Excellent skills in JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS
- Experience with client-server technology
- Extensive experience leading design and architecture related activities
- Experienced with large scale environments
- Experienced with Open-source development model
- Hands-on and high capacity; sets high standards and holds the entire team to high standards
