Android Software Engineer ( Middle/Senior)

The League is a pre-series A startup backed by IDG Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, xSeed Capital, Structure capital as well as notable angels. The Founder is a Stanford MBA (ex-Google, ex-Salesforce) with a strong product sense (engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon) and a fierce determination to change the dating space for the better. The League has hundreds of thousands of people waiting for it to open it’s gates in other metros and is looking to take their dating app to the next level.

As an Android Engineer at The League, you will work closely with the founding team in driving The League App forward.  We’re looking for exceptionally talented engineers who are adept at combining beautiful design with thoughtful architecture.   As an experienced engineer you will set the quality bar and be relied upon to deliver on an Android experience that is in a league of its own.

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 5 years experience in software/computer engineering
• At least 2 years developing, releasing and maintaining native Android applications (show us your work in Google Play)
• Experience collaborating with other engineers to create apps with significant design and back-end engineering aspects
• Proven experience implementing and monitoring in-app analytics
• Natural at debugging and profiling own applications

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiar and up-to-date on Android design principals
• Experience developing testing suites for mobile applications
• Experience with web technologies and their fundamentals
• Highly proactive in seeking to understand quality of experience for users interacting with your apps
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with Parse a plus
